Why should I choose the Wilkinson Welding Academy?
We offer professional courses to meet the needs of industry using the very latest welding and cutting technology.
Our resources provide modern and up-to-date training facilities which motivates all age groups to undertake the
learner journey. The training team comes from a wide range of industrial sectors with many years experience
within the engineering/manufacturing industry.

Do I need any previous experience?
No all our courses are designed around your initial assessment i.e, Beginner, Refresher or Upskilling.
Will the course include both theory and practical sessions?
Yes course content includes a balance of both theory and practical.
Do I get a certificate after completing the training?
Yes all courses are certified.
Will I be tested following the training?
Testing only applies if you are undertaking BS4872/1&2 or an EAL qualification.
Will I receive any reference material to take away with me?
Yes you will be given a module reference book relevent to the welding process and training.

Do you provide parking?
Yes ample and secure parking is available at our premises.
Where is the nearest railway station?
Moorside station is approximately a 0.7 mile walk to the Academy.
Where do I report for training?
After receiving your course confirmation please report to the main reception area at the designated time and date.
What time does the course start and finish?
The course starts at 9:00am and the finishes is 4:15pm.
What do I need to bring with me on the day(s) of the training?
You will need to bring safety shoes and overalls, all other resourses are provided.
Is there a canteen facility?
Yes excellent facilities are available on the premises.
